Alright guys, I'm almost 100% dead set on NOT going to college, but I'm always open to get some input on your opinions. As of right now I work at UPS and make pretty decent money. But the opportunity for a higher education isn't out of my mind completely. My reasoning for choosing UPS is because when you see one of those big brown trucks driving around, the guy delivering and driving that truck, is usually making upwards of 35 dollars an hour with full benefits after making seniority. A starting driver at 18 dollars an hour will make an average of $1700 dollars a week or more. Unfortunately I'm not a driver yet because you have to be 21, but working inside the buildings isn't bad pay either. I'm in it for the long run and to eventually get a driving job. But, if college might help me get to a high paying job quicker, I'm all ears. So input from you guys would be awesome, and if you're looking for employment and can handle high stress and a ridiculous pace, I highly suggest applying for local sort and or preload. Not a lot of hours but it gives an opportunity to work 2 jobs. Thanks guys! Hope you've been doing well.

Not much to say here really, just your average guy from Vermont. I love cars, bikes, and anything that moves really. I don't post often due to the fact that I'm very busy and have a lot of work hours. But if you would like to chat, or have a thing for cars throw me a note. I'd be happy to talk.

Thanks for the watch! Say, got any recommendations on car shops that can install some 3.73 or 4.10 gears on a mustang v6 for cheap? I'm talking like chains, unless the smaller places are the better bet.

Around me I know of several shops, but I highly doubt we live near each other. But basically every speed shop can do it. It's not a really hard job at all if your rear end isn't rusted. Personally I don't know if any chain shops do that sort of thing. But I also wouldn't be caught dead bringing a car to a chain place, most of the time they half ass their jobs and don't do a good job. I highly recommend doing it yourself if you can

Yeah, I was afraid it would be that way. I could work on it myself (our company lets us use the fabrication shop and after hours and my supervisor is a car obsessed guy), but I just got into this type of stuff like two weeks ago. I know replacing the driveshaft isn't hard, it's just the gears I am worried about. I would rather have someone who has been working on cars for a while either walk it through with me or do it for me than for me to just DIY the hell out of it and run into major issues down the road.

The gears arentt too bad of a job really. You can't really mess up a rear end easily. It just won't move right. Its not like a transmission where there's hundreds of moving parts. Always good to learn how to diy :)
